Winter Cranberry Martini – Tabler Party of Two

Image of cranberry martini. This Winter Cranberry Martini is such a beautiful signature cocktail to serve at your holiday party!

Thinking about what signature cocktail to serve at your upcoming holiday parties? I’ve got just the recipe for both your Thanksgiving and Christmas gatherings! It’s easy to make, absolutely delicious, and beautiful to boot.

The secret that makes this martini so dang good is the cranberry-infused simple syrup. (I was inspired by Swooned Magazine, but changed it up to make it my own.) I love that this drink includes the homemade cranberry syrup instead of store-bought juice.

Ingredients
  1. CRANBERRY-INFUSED SIMPLE SYRUP
  2. 1 cup of fresh cranberries
  3. 3/4 cup of water
  4. 1/3 cup of sugar
  5. COCKTAIL INGREDIENTS (SERVES 1)
  6. 1 1/2 ounces of vodka
  7. 2 ounces of cranberry-infused simple syrup
  8. 1 ounce of orange liqueur
  9. Fresh cranberries (garnish)
  10. Fresh Rosemary (garnish)
Instructions
  1. DIRECTIONS
  2. Add the cranberry syrup ingredients to a small pot on the stove and stir.
  3. Cover with a lid and cook on medium for approximately 7-10 minutes or until the cranberries “pop.”
  4. Mash with a spoon and reduce the heat to low.
  5. Cook another 5 minutes until the sides of the mix start to gel on the pot.
  6. Strain by putting through a fine mesh sieve or use a tablespoon to remove only the juice for the cocktail.
  7. Save the rest for a jam or traditional cranberry sauce.
  8. Add ice, vodka, and cranberry syrup, and orange liqueur to a cocktail shaker and shake to chill. Pour into a chilled martini glass and garnish.

The only thing that could have made this drink prettier would be my sugared cranberries! Wish I’d thought of that a little sooner. 🙂
