DIY Thanksgiving Napkin Rings and Place Cards Tutorial

On of my very favorite things about Thanksgiving this year was working on fun little DIY Thanksgiving projects with my daughter-in-love, Shandi. She is SOOO creative! And isn’t she CUTE?

If I tell her my idea, she takes it completely to the next level. It’s so fun to finally have a daughter! (PLUS, I get another sweet daughter in May!)

Both little projects were super easy! Here are the instructions.

Burlap Ribbon Napkin Rings

Supplies
1-2 rolls burlap ribbon (depending on how many you need to make)
buttons, burlap findings, tags, etc. for decorating napkin rings
glue gun and glue

Instructions
Cut the burlap ribbon into pieces so that, when glued, you will have a two-inch diameter for each. I needed to make 20 napkin rings, and one roll of ribbon was enough.

Next, roll the ribbon into a circle and then glue the ends together.

Finally, glue on your buttons and other embellishments!

Cut card stock to desired size (approximately 2 X 3). Use chalk marker to write names on cards. (Shandi went to https://www.dafont.com and chose a different type style for each card!)

Last, punch a hole in the card, run twine through the hole, and attach to little white pumpkin.

So simple and cute! I’ll be adapting this idea to other holidays and events!
