One month ago today, I officially launched Tabler Party of Two. What a fulfilling and fun journey it’s been so far! When God gives you a dream and a passion, well, that’s what I call an amazing blessing. During this first month of the blog, the Tabler empty nesters have been on quite a few adventures. Here’s are some of the highlights of the first 30 days here at Tabler Party of Two.
The launch of the blog was the same day we went on an incredible vacation in Huatulco, Mexico. We had such a blast that I shared my six tips for planning the the most romantic and relaxing getaway ever.
We’ve enjoyed some lazy summer days by the pool and have experimented with some fun cocktails. I shared one of my favorites, the Grapefruit Basil Spritzer. This yummy concoction is great with or without the alcohol!
I was SO blessed to get to go to my first blog conference, The Hundred Event, in Dallas. I learned so much and met some awesome and inspiring fellow bloggers. While I was there, I had a photoshoot for the blog and shared my style on the day of the shoot. I’m a huge fan of mixing patterns, so this dots and stripes outfit was perfect!
After a fun summer with Trevor and his precious fiance Rachel here, we said goodbye as they enter their last year of college. I wrote about the blessings the nest becoming empty again. It’s a time to celebrate!
So… have you ever wanted to start a blog? Several friends and aquaintances have shared their desire to blog since I started this journey. I’m clearly a novice, but I can tell you that I’ve read two books that I highly recommend to anyone desiring to start a blog or any kind of business. The first is Platform by Michael Hyatt, and the second is Tribes by Seth Godin. Each of this books provides a wealth of information for entrepreneurs and brand developers.
