diy Refrigerator Magnets

DIY Refrigerator Magnets are so cute and super easy to make!

magnet on refrigeratorIn recent months, I’ve featured some creative recipes and DIY projects created by my daughter in law Shandi. But I’ve got another talented daughter in law! Rachel married my son Trevor last May, and she’s been working hard to make their apartment simply adorable.

Today, I’m sharing one of Rachel’s recent, easy projects: DIY Refrigerator Magnets. You’ll only need a few inexpensive supplies that you can pick up at Hobby Lobby or Michaels. You can make magnets out all kinds of little objects and items you have in your home. The style of Trevor and Rachel’s apartment is coastal farmhouse, so she chose to make magnets out of wood slices.

The image above shows how simple this little project really is.

SUPPLIES
-magnets
-decorative objects
-glue gun

Simply glue your magnets onto your choice of decorative items, and that’s it! Stick them on the fridge or on other items in the house, like Rachel’s cute vintage mug she found last week at an antique shop.

Making your own DIY Magnets is so fun and easy! Use them on the fridge and other items in your home, like this cute vintage mug.

I found some other really cute ideas of items to use for your magnets. First, there are these darling succulent magnets from The Country Chic Cottage.

And these cute bottle cap photo magnets are from I’m Donna DIY. Love these, too!

I can’t wait to do my own version of fridge magnets! How about you?
