Conversation Hearts Sugar Scrub

DIY Conversation Hearts Sugar Scrub is a darling Valentine’s Day gift or party favor!

DIY Conversation Hearts Sugar Scrub... so cute and super easy to make! TablerPartyofTwo.comWhen I host the Amazing Ladies Wine Group, I like everyone to leave with a little party favor. Last year it was my turn to host right around Valentine’s Day, and I decided to make this DIY Conversation Hearts Sugar Scrub for my wine loving gal pals.

I like this as a gift or favor because:
(A) it’s super cute, and
(B) it’s awesome to use on dry winter skin.

Y’all, it is SO dry in the California desert… very different from what I was used to in Texas! I like to use a sugar scrub on my hands every day to ward off some of the effects of our dry climate.

Cute Valentine's Day party favor or gift! Conversation Hearts Sugar Scrub. TablerPartyofTwo.com

Okay, so this is not only a cute, colorful gift every girl can use, but it’s also SUPER easy to make! Here’s how to do it:

Ingredients

• 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
• 1 small box of conversation hearts
• 1/4 coconut oil

Directions

In a medium bowl, stir the granulated sugar and coconut oil until they are combined well. (Note: if the coconut oil has turned to a solid state, simply heat in the microwave for 15-20 seconds to soften before combining with the sugar).

In a food processor, grind the conversation hearts until there is a combination of fine powder and small pieces… don’t grind until they are all powder!

Add the conversation heart pieces to the sugar/coconut oil mixture. Stir until thoroughly combined. If the mixture feels too oily, simply add more sugar a little at a time. If the mixture feels too dry, add a little more coconut oil.

Scoop into airtight containers (I like using 4 oz. mason jars with lids)

Attach free printable tags and mini metallic spoons with pink baker’s twine.

You’re going to LOVE how your skin feels after using this scrub… Silky and smooth!

OMG! Super EASY diy project for Valentine's Day. Perfect for party favor or teacher gift! TablerPartyofTwo.com
